Cutie Colin!

Colin made his cup, forks, and socks into a "birthday cake" just after dinner one day! I heard him singing the "Happy Birthday" song, then he blew out the "candles!" Too cute!

We made a family square for preschool. They were including them in a travelling book that would go home for the families to look at.

Here are a few things that Colin made at preschool before they asked him not to come back until he has stopped having pee accidents for a whole week. :-(

Japanese School

Gavin started Japanese school! He is learning the hiragana (there are 46) which can be compared to the alphabet, but is more accurately called a syllabary.

Here is the craft he did his first class and his homework sheets! The first two hiragana they learned were shi and ku. The colorful thing is a kuma. They are learning from simplest to write to more complex.

From the following two weeks here is the hitsugi (sheep) and inu (dog).

We got a small shop vac! Who knew it could be so fun for a little boy?!

Around his neck he put an expandable key chain that you wear on your wrist... goofy!

Philip sometimes drinks V8 and he referred to it as his "medicine." We saw some at Costco and Colin said, "There's daddy's medicine!" He has a good memory!
