Bath Time!

Both of my boys have always known how to relax!  Thought this was too cute!

We went to the Japanese garden during the homecoming for our Alma mater.  The headband says, "Go Beach!" in Katakana.

Gavin wrote his Japanese name himself!!! γ‚Šγ‚…γΈγ„

Short kiddie stories

Colin called my spaghetti worms!  Thought that was too cute!

You know that reflective metal thing in the tub?  Gavin caught a glimpse of himself with wet hair and he started rubbing his hair.  I asked him about it and he was trying to rub out the brown! He knows his hair is "yellow" and didn't know what was wrong with his hair, so I explained that it gets to be a darker color in water.

In an attempt to get a scrapbook going for Colin, we got one with 14 premade layouts!

I made pizza crackers in the toaster oven. Yummy...

Not sure at what point, but Gavin used the toilet paper holder as a step to see out the bathroom window...

Someone threw a bowl in the sink and broke a cup...

This is a mouth made of paper, tape, and marshmallows. I somehow overlooked it when doing the schoolwork page.  Philip and I cut out and taped those paper mouths.

My sweet Gavin has a flower obsession.  He now LOVES to give out flowers!  He got these from school!

Bath time!

I can't remember exactly why I took these pictures.  I think that maybe they had been playing in the backyard and got dirty faces, Gavin's is definitely dirty.  Colin just looks very unhappy...

My little cuties!

I am SO far behind in posts, hopefully I will catch up soon, but I am almost a month behind.

Took some pictures of them in the bath!!!

He does say a few words now!

Eating popsicles made at home from fruit juice, yum!

Cheese!

I thought having popsicle molds for summer would be fun and tasty!

Smiling Tattoos

We got smiling tattoos from parks & rec when I went in to sign up for a classes.

I put my camera o the sink and Gavin noticed that you could see Thomas through it,(it's his toothbrush), so I thought I'd take a picture.

Bath Time & Bed Time at Grandma's & Grandpa's House

Gavin got to take a bath in the big jacuzzi tub in the master bath with his cousin!

I took the next two pictures at around 5:30 in the morning because I thought that they were cute.  Colin had covered himself with the sheep pillow in his sleepy attempt to get warm!

Gavin all curled up!

Relaxing in the bath

Gavin has always been able to kick up his heels and relax.  I thought it was funny that he decided to lay down in the tub! Not exactly a soft place to relax.

Silly Gavin!

Gavin has been squatting and sitting in the colander we have been using to keep the bath toys.

I think I am FINALLY caught up with my pictures for the blog! The first time in over a month, yay!

Smarty Pants Gavin

When Gavin was playing the other day, he told me the trains made "L." It's backwards, but yes! Also, see the teething toy in the upper right corner of the picture? Gavin got it out and told me, "number." I mentioned the number story to Philip and said that I told him, "Yes, it's 8!" and Philip's response was, "What, you didn't tell him it was infinity?"

Gavin decided the other night that he wanted a bath, he put the small tub in the right place and turned the water one. Here he is bending down like I do after I add soap. I usually swish the water with my hand to make some bubbles.

1st Bath @ Home

He got a bath at the hospital from the nurses (childbirth is messy and would have been gross to leave him that way), but this was his first at home and unlike with Gavin, Philip was willing to do it. He was so nervous when Gavin was a newborn since they seem so fragile (they are pretty tough, though, I think).

So not happy about this whole proposition. His umbilical cord hadn't fallen off yet, so we needed to still do a sponge bath.

Bath Time Fun!

Daddy thought it would be fun to give Gavin a Mohawk. His hair almost long enough for first haircut time.

Love that look!

Look at the pattern Gavin made with his animals on the side of the tub.

Rubber Ducky, You're the One...

Gavin has a rubber ducky that is a favorite bath time toy. Last night he had it, and he said, "Duck!" I was thinking it was a coincidence, but I told Philip about it anyway. He said that he had done the same thing with him before! I tried to get him to say it again tonight, but he didn't want to cooperate. I'm still not 100% convinced there is meaning behind it, but it's still pretty cool! (He has also said dada, mama, and what sounded like baby.)
