Pioneer Day Picnic and Japanese Festival

We had a fun afternoon!  We went to the pioneer day picnic with family, then off to a Japanese festival for dessert!

Lego Club Meeting

We went to a Lego club meeting that was Lord of the Rings themed.  

They got to build a castle out of Legos and tell about it to the group.

Swimming Lesson Day 1

We decided it was time to put Gavin into swimming lessons!

At first he was very tense when floating on his back.  

He soon relaxed, though.

Origami Festival

We went to the Origami Festival at a local Japanese garden.

There was a crane kind enough to pose

Samurai hats!  People thought it was hilarious seeing tiny Colin in this huge hat!

Colin was helping me decorate a strawberry!

Her is what we made: a gift box, a couple of fish, a strawberry, two balloons, and a crane.  Next year we will probably go earlier in the day.
