Happy New Year 2013...

We had a New Years party for the kids: we celebrated the new year eastern standard time!  Some of the kids made necklaces with flower cut outs and straws I had leftover from an activity I had done with the 8-11 year old girls at church.  We went outside at 9:00 pm to celebrate the new year! The kids loved the poppers, of course!!

On New Years Day I made cute bentos for a picnic lunch in the park.  Bok bok!

On January 2, I tried my hand at making a lime pie from homegrown limes my friend gave me.  It was delicious!!!!

Christmas Party with a Friend!

Not sure why all these pictures turned out a bit funky, but you get the idea! We had a little party with one of the boys' little friends.  We made candy necklaces and opened presents.  Fun times!

Celebrations and fun!!!

There is a cooking class once a month at church.  Colin was playing with another little boy one day.  I thought they were cute together!  He is the one in the car.  

Went to a party where we used to go to church before we moved.  Gavin sang with the kids. 

Gotta have the Santa visit!

Gavin was in his whole school Christmas production.  He sang with the other kindergartens.  He was in the middle, but good luck picking him out.  We figured out who he was because he was so tall, and he was the only kid in socks with their Hawaiian themed clothes!!! HAHAHA!

The kids got to see Santa again at Japanese school! Gavin is in the back next to his teacher.  He's a tall one, as always.

Happy 4th of July!!!

We did a pool party and bbq in the early afternoon.  Look at cutie Colin with Philip!!

In the evening we had a bbq at my parents' house, followed by fireworks.  Cute sunglasses boys!
