More Backyard Fun

Gavin's really beginning to get the hang of playing outdoors. He loves to go outside and is really a water baby.

These are from today and Tuesday.

Aunt Jessica made a sprinkler to help with flood irrigation in the backyard. The kids (and chickens) love it.



"How do you work this thing?"





"Finally, I can play by myself without getting knocked down or squirted."

Learning New Things Everyday

Gavin has discovered that he can climb up onto chairs, much to our dismay. I went outside for a few minutes the other day and came back to this...



...he was so determined to get up on the chair that it being pushed in was not a deterrent! (And me being so mean, took a picture before rescuing him, hehehe.)

Mr. Hat Man 2

Although he won't let us leave a hat on him for any amount of time (except for when Aunt Staci got him to wear a hat at her house), he still likes to play with them on occasion.

Backyard Fun

Gavin has been having fun in the backyard with his cousins! This was Monday.

Noah's Ark at the Skirball

There are SO many pictures to choose from from this exhibit, I tried to narrow it down, but there are still A LOT here, hope you don't mind. It was a really cool exhibit, it was totally interactive for the kids, and even though Gavin can't do a lot of the things, I think he still had a great time crawling around, sweeping, playing with blocks, and more.

All of the animals are made from recycled materials.

Looking at one of the puppets. A lot of the animals were puppets that were brought around and could be touched. This one is a coyote.

It was definitely worth the drive to go there! Thursday is the free day, so we just had to pay for gas. I would recommend going there to anyone with young kids!

More Fountain Fun

The kids took another romp in the fountain outside the library. This time Perry joined in the fun!

The Best Park!

The park we went to is designed like a city from the time of Paul Revere's midnight ride. It is on an island in the middle of the park and it has play equipment inside each of the buildings.

Here is the slide coming out of the "church." Gavin went on it with Perry once, he seemed to like it. However, he refused take a second turn with him.
