Ikea with Grandma and Grandpa

We went to Ikea to get shelving for the playroom.

Thanksgiving is over, so we decided to get ready for Christmas!

The only Christmas lights we put up!  I thought they were pretty snowflakes!

I used a sandwich maker to make corn dogs for the kids.  I used a homemade cornbread mix this time.  It was pretty good!

Philip and Jenny Get Away!

We did a late anniversary getaway in Carlsbad.  Not too far away from home--we could have gotten back pretty easily in an emergency, but far enough where we couldn't just take a quick jaunt home.  

I thought this fountain was cool.  It looks like glass!

One of our kids dropped something in it that I was trying to rescue when I found this metal toy car!  We think it had probably been in there since the 50's when it was built!
