Since Gavin is over a year old now, I thought we'd try out peanut butter and jelly. He ate one small piece, (which I was really surprised to see), but then didn't eat anymore of it.

I have also been trying to get him to eat chunkier foods (as opposed to grinding them, which is what I have been doing). One day he at a whole chunky meal of pasta, chicken, and peas, but has refused to do it since then. I was trying to get him to eat butternut squash soup with alphabet pasta in it, but it pretty much just made it to the face, but not down the throat.

So, the next day I tried to give it to him in a bowl with a spoon but, of course, he doesn't know how to use a spoon, but he still wouldn't even try to put the pasta to his mouth with his hands. He has seven teeth now, but wants everything ground up if it's not bread or crackers! Ah!
