Field Trip to the Zoo!

We went with Gavin's class to the zoo!  Gavin was obsessed with the map that day!

Gavin LOVES flowers.  He wanted me to take a picture!

Gavin's favorite animal!  I like how it has a feet measuring stick posted so you can see how tall they really are in pictures!

What is wrong with this picture?!

I had a few more cute pictures of Gavin and a few of his friends on a lizard and a snake, but I think it's best to avoid posting pictures of kids in his class. 

The LA Zoo!

We went to the zoo to see the new elephant exhibit and all the rest of the animals, too!

Zoo Time!

We went to the zoo with friends and I made bento lunches.  

We had to ride the train, of course!

It's kind of hard to see, but this the bald eagle behind the fence. These fences make it extremely difficult to take quick pictures!

I know there is a glare, but I took this picture for the giraffe skull--I never knew that the pointy parts (horns?) on the giraffe's head were bone!

We got to feed a giraffe! I cut off the video a second earlier than I meant to.  I wanted to see Brooke's leaves get eaten, too.  Sorry, Aunt Staci!

On the way out of the zoo Gavin was running, and just as I was yelling to him in the distance to slow down, he tripped and skinned his lip!

All three kids were beat!
