Colin Eating

Colin is all about the food.  Thought it was funny that he somehow managed to get his cereal in his hair!

If there's one food in particular he likes, it's definitely the sweets!  Leftover birthday cake, yum!

Just before I took this picture, he had his toast speared with his training chopsticks.

He tried Nutella. I gave him something to dip in it, but he soon said forget that and dipped his fingers!

Spatula Boy...

...the toe toy version. These pictures are on the way home from Grandma and Grandpa's house. Not sure what the fascination was with his toes. Just exploring, I guess. Here is his newest toy spatula that he got for Christmas.

We dressed Gavin up to go trick or treating at Daddy's work yesterday afternoon. He and Matthew looked so cute together, too!

The Return of Spatula Boy!

Here are pictures from before and after the church Halloween Party. We couldn't get one without him crying beforehand. The party was pretty much a bust for us because he wouldn't really eat (and dinner was late for him) and he was too small to do much of anything else.

He really does love them! Take a look at the ancient spatula he found when he emptied the drawer of all its implements. He loves to go through the drawers and pull stuff out!

Welcome to our home Matthew!

No we didn't adopt but Gavin is going to be sharing his mommy time with a friend during the day for the next few months. Our friend Dori has to go back to work and thus needed some daycare assistance, Jenny wanted to see what it is like to have two kids and earn the money to buy her new BOB Duallie Jogging Stroller, so we have a little experiment going. Little Matthew is a sweet boy and Gavin is getting to learn how to share his toys (even his spatula for a couple minutes).

For a while I've tried to get him to talk to Daddy on the phone, or even just listen. (He kind of squints when he hears Daddy's voice and pushes it away.) Now he wants to talk on it like a big boy, although he won't do it for real, I've tried.

He's still having fun with it! He took it with us on our walk on the hill today and while we were on our way up one of the hills, a lady asked, "Is he going to make breakfast up there?!"





You can tell that I have no life when the videos I make get more complicated...

Spatula Boy

I went to Ikea over a week ago and when I got home, Gavin stole my brand new spatula. He's been playing with it off and on since then.





He stole this clean spatula from the dishwasher when Mom was unloading it!



He'll be our two spatula chef one day!
