Happy Father's Day!

Philip got a page for his scrapbook from the kids.  It says, "There are many fish in the sea, but only one dad I want to see." Gavin made the pen holder at school.  Came with the pens.  

Gavin's teacher at church had the kids make these cute cards for their fathers.  

Gavin answered questions about Philip.  Some of them are funny, like I don't think Philip's ever said anything to Gavin about sports, I am the one who almost always picks him up from school, and where did he get that Philip's favorite food was eggs? Maybe because he makes them fairly often for breakfast when he is home?  It's always fun to see how they will answer questions when you're not around!

School in May & June

At Gavin's new school they did two units while he was there: transportation and sea life.  

Gavin now wants to ride in a hot air balloon.  The green thing with a black stack is in both pictures because Gavin called it a train, but I think maybe it's a sea slug or something...

They also had him do writing and math worksheets.

Colin crawled up in the bathroom and started brushing his teeth with Gavin's toothbrush!  Silly boy!

I had Gavin and Colin use the stethoscope to listen to our hearts and then they played with the vet set.

Pump it Up!

We had a field trip to Pump it Up with Gavin's preschool.  The boys loved it!

Here is Colin and me on the slide, sorry it's out of focus.  He LOVED this slide! He would have had me take him up and down the whole time if he had had his choice.

They had a few cars and things for the little guys to use.

The kids loved playing this one.  They were trying to put the flags up as high as possible and then trying to get them down from as high as possible as well.  

After playing we had pizza for lunch.  

It was a fun field trip!

A couple of our friends gave us bikes that they weren't using and so we got a trailer for our bike to take the kids along!
