Gavin!

I think I took this picture because Gavin was so tuckered out, he took a nap!

Gavin wanted to take a picture because he brother had just taken one.  He colored this picture at school.

We went to an orthotist for Colin's new shoe inserts and Gavin took pictures on my phone.  These were the best he took:

Gavin wanted to see my "elevens," which I determined to be the two lines you get between your eyes when you furrow your brow.  Here Gavin is trying desperately to show me his "elevens" and failing miserably! (Since he has no wrinkles!)

We were watching the weather report on TV and Gavin told me to click on one! He is so used to using the Wii where you use the remote to click on things and touch phones...

I got Gavin to watch a program on the Japanese channel.  It was an art show, but as far as I can tell, it's not a series because I haven't found it on since :-(

Ragnar Relay--So Cal

April 20-21 I ran in my first Ragnar Relay.  It was SO much fun.  It was an almost 200 mile relay in southern California.  We had a team of 12 with 6 people in two vans-- (I was runner #6) each person ran three legs of the race and it went overnight.

Run detail in late morning/early afternoon HEAT!

Lake Elsinore.  We went there during our break!

We had to find three volunteers to work the race, this was one of them!  She made us a sign, so sweet!  Unfortunately we weren't able to catch her on duty.  

My second run was between approximately 2:00 and 3:00 am.  I climbed about 950 feet in 7.6 miles wearing a reflective vest, a red tail light, and a headlamp.  It was misting and I was alone for quite some time, but other runners did come along... I ran my fastest mile downhill on this run!

I had more hills in this run, my last.

I made a collage to share the experience with my running team.  

There were temporary tattoos in the goody bag we got-- but we didn't notice them until the end, so my boys got my tattoo and someone else's as well who didn't want theirs.  They went to church the next day sporting Ragnar tattoos!
