Brotherly Love!

All of my boys walking through Target.  I thought they were SO cute! February 16.

Gavin was reading to his brother. We happen to have two copies of the same book.  February 28.

We went out for a run together and Colin tripped.  Gavin offered to carry him (when only lasted maybe a minute), but it was too cute!!! April 6, 2015.

Gaviota Gavin

Gavin took Plants vs. Zombies fruit snacks and positioned them like he would in the game! March 12.

I found this on the morning of March 15.  So cute!! He was reading to his little brother!

March 16.  He wouldn't let me take a picture, so I took it of his key ring.  He reached 125 miles!

March 23: He got his first pair of glasses!  It's crazy that his prescription went from -.25 to -1.5 in just eight months!  We are now trying him on an eye drop that slows down the changing of the eye in 75% of patients.  Otherwise, the ophthalmologist says he is on the fast track to having a worse prescription than I did before LASIK.

I let the boys run on the track after I finish my workout on Tuesday nights.  March 31.

He was proud to make this from model magic. April 1.

He was proud of his design on his dessert on April 4!!!

Gardening Update

Here is a shot of a wax bean plant emerging from the dirt!

Sugar snap pea sprouts!

Tomato sprouts!

Wax beans!  I love that you can see the bean it sprouted from!

It's alive!!!

More peas.

You can clearly see that they sprouted from a bean!

Our avocado tree is blooming!

Our five year old is a measurement of its height.  It's not very big.  I can't imagine it sustaining a full size avocado!

More bean sprouts!

The beans and peas.

Cucumber sprouts emerging!!!

The tomatoes are growing...

I moved some of the sprouts to pots.

Baby chard (right) meet big chard!

Fresh steamed chard!

I moved a couple of plants to the ground.  The next day something had destroyed them...oddly enough nearby plants in pots (just next to them) were fine!!!!

I found this in the kitchen!!! So, I planted it!!!

I definitely have a tomato farm going on!

Finally another rose bloomed!

Found this for some flowers that vine that I planted in the backyard!

Here is it set up:

SOMETHING stole an avocado (probably from two doors down) and ate it in the middle of the night.  Philip's guess is a possum.

Just today, our sugar snap peas are happy!

The wax beans are really happy next door!

The cucumbers are doing well, too!

The chard is getting bigger, and look, a carrot or two seem to be doing okay!

I planted a couple of tomato plants in the raised box.  This one seems to be doing okay.  All of the others in pots I moved back in the house  The other tomato plant outside is going to die, I think.

I planted some more corn this week because the other stuff didn't ever sprout, and I think we have a few sprouts now!

These are either morning glories or moon flowers.  My guess is morning glories.
