The father and sons outing was this night, but Philip didn't want to take Gavin 85 miles away for his first camp out and have him want to come home in the middle of the night, so we did a few "camp" things including a camp fire to roast marshmallows and letting him lay down in the tent, but then we slept in our own beds! We are going to try the camping thing for real this summer for a family reunion in Utah.

Some of his cousins really wanted to spend the night in the tent, but much to their dismay we packed it up after sending Gavin off to his own bed.
When we were packing up the tent I saw some ducks fly overhead. They had gone into the pool! The really odd thing was that they were ON TOP of the pool cover!
